Entry Level Mechanic

Essential Functions

• General maintenance such as:
• Change oil and oil filters
• Check fluids and air filters
• Install batteries and check charging systems
• Check/replace bulbs and wipers
• Mount and balance tires
• Demonstrate working knowledge of major truck components and electrical systems
• Operate a motor vehicle, as required
• Attends scheduled meetings
• Other related duties as assigned

**MUST PASS PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN**

Required Education & Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license
• High School diploma/GED
• Vocational/Technical School preferred
• Must have own mechanic tools
• Welding abilities a plus
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to organize necessary resources such as people, tools, and time to meet deadlines and achieve desired results
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and integrity with strong core values
• Takes initiative and seek continuous improvement of knowledge and abilities
• Sustain existing vendor relationships and develop new vendor relationships
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Exhibits respectful behavior being punctual, focused/engaged, and showing respect for others
• Possesses above average communication skills, written and oral
• Willingness learn new skills from team members
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
